Mortal Kombat was released in 1992. Upon its release it immediately garnered attention from parents and politicians condemning the violent content. Just a year later hot off Mortal Kombat's groundbreaking success was Mortal Kombat II. Mortal Kombat introduced two new types of finishers: Babalities and Friendships.

This project is yes, an homage to the entire franchise of Mortal Kombat (video games, merchandise, toys, movies) but the core theme of this project is FRIENDSHIP and its importance for this year and more to come.
